RoofCrafters Roofing Introduce
In the vibrant communities of Georgia, a reliable roof is a cornerstone of every home's safety and value. When it’s time for a roof repair or a full replacement, finding a qualified and trustworthy roofing contractor is the first and most critical step. A professional roofing company not only provides the necessary labor but also offers expertise in materials, project management, and adherence to local building codes. For residents in the Savannah area and beyond, a company like RoofCrafters Roofing is a local option for a variety of roofing needs. A good roofing contractor acts as a vital partner, guiding homeowners through what can often be a complex and significant home improvement project. From the initial inspection to the final shingle, their role is to ensure that the work is performed to a high standard, protecting your home from the unpredictable Georgia weather. This article provides a comprehensive overview of RoofCrafters Roofing, with a focus on their services, location, customer feedback, and overall suitability for locals. We will explore what they offer, where they are located, and how their past customer experiences can inform your decision. This information is intended to be a factual resource, helping you navigate the process of choosing a roofing contractor with a clear and informed perspective.
The job of a roofing contractor is multifaceted and requires a high degree of skill and professionalism. Beyond the physical work of installing or repairing a roof, they are responsible for detailed planning, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. For homeowners in Georgia, understanding these aspects of a contractor's work is essential. Issues such as timely completion, clear communication, and financial transparency are just as important as the quality of the installation itself. A contractor who excels in project management can save homeowners a great deal of stress, ensuring the project stays on track and within budget. Their local knowledge is also a valuable asset, as they understand the specific challenges and requirements of building in the Georgia climate. This includes knowing which materials are best suited to handle the intense summer heat and potential storm seasons. While a new roof is a significant investment, the peace of mind that comes with a professionally managed project is invaluable. The following sections will explore how RoofCrafters Roofing fits into this role, drawing on publicly available information to provide a balanced and honest assessment. Our goal is to present a complete picture so that Georgia residents can feel confident in their choice of a roofing contractor for their next project.
RoofCrafters Roofing is conveniently located at 14 Sherborne Rd, Savannah, GA 31419, USA. This location places the company within a central part of the Savannah community, making it easily accessible for local residents. For homeowners and business owners throughout the area, a local physical address provides a reassuring sense of stability and accountability. It means the company is part of the community it serves, not a distant entity. The address at 14 Sherborne Rd serves as the operational hub for RoofCrafters Roofing, where the team manages projects, organizes materials, and communicates with clients. For anyone in the Georgia area considering their services, being able to visit their office for an in-person consultation can be a valuable step in the process. It allows for a face-to-face discussion about project details, a review of material options, and a chance to get a better feel for the company's professionalism and customer service. The accessibility of a local contractor is also a practical matter, ensuring that crews can be dispatched efficiently to job sites and that the company can respond promptly to any issues, particularly in the event of storm-related damage. The address is more than just a pin on a map; it represents their commitment to being an active and accessible part of the Savannah community. This location is a key factor for residents who prefer to work with businesses that have a tangible presence in their area, solidifying RoofCrafters Roofing as a local option for roofing projects.
Based on customer experiences and public information, RoofCrafters Roofing offers a specialized set of services, with a particular focus on comprehensive roofing projects. While the provided information is limited to a couple of reviews, a clear picture of their core business emerges. Their services appear to include:
- Metal roof installation, a significant and specialized service mentioned in a customer review.
- Roof replacement, as the metal roof project was a complete replacement of an existing roof.
- Estimator and team-based services, with a specific mention of a positive experience with an estimator named Will and the broader "Roofcrafter's team."
The fact that one review details a metal roof replacement is a key indicator of their capabilities. Metal roofs are a significant investment and require a different skill set than traditional shingle roofs, suggesting a level of specialized expertise. The review that mentions a positive experience with a team, including an estimator, also highlights the structured nature of their services. A good estimator is crucial for providing accurate quotes and useful information to homeowners, which is a key part of the initial customer experience. While one customer's experience suggests a successful and professional interaction, another highlights significant operational challenges. The review detailing a lack of planning and communication during a roof replacement project, and the resulting delays and lien issues, also provides a critical perspective on the services they offer. It shows that while the quality of the final installation can be satisfactory, the project management and administrative aspects may present challenges. For locals in Georgia, this mixed information is essential for understanding the full scope of what a company offers. It’s not just about the final product but the entire process. This list of services, viewed through the lens of both positive and negative feedback, provides a more complete and realistic picture of what a potential customer can expect from RoofCrafters Roofing.
Based on customer reviews, RoofCrafters Roofing has a few notable features and highlights, but also some significant issues that potential customers should be aware of. These points provide a balanced perspective on the company's operations:
- One customer had a very positive experience, praising the "job well done by a great team of pros." This highlight suggests that when the process goes smoothly, the quality of the work and the professionalism of the team are commendable.
- The same review specifically mentioned the estimator, Will, for providing a "wealth of very useful information," which is a key feature of a professional and helpful consultation process.
- The quality of the final installation was described as "satisfactory" even by a customer who had a negative overall experience, which indicates a level of skill in the actual roofing work itself.
However, it is crucial for potential customers to consider the significant concerns raised by another review:
- A major highlight of concern was a failure to pay a supplier, which resulted in a lien being placed on the homeowner's property. Although the issue was eventually resolved, it caused "significant stress and inconvenience." This points to potential administrative and financial management issues.
- Another critical point of concern was a severe lack of project planning and communication. A customer's home was left exposed to two major storms after the old roof was removed and a new one was not installed for an extended period, leading to a project that took months to complete.
- The lack of a clear timeline and the operational issues were highlighted as indicators of a "lack of professionalism and effective management."
These contrasting reviews offer a comprehensive view of the company. On one hand, there is praise for the team's professionalism and the quality of the final product. On the other hand, there are serious red flags concerning project management, communication, and financial accountability. For a Georgia resident, these different perspectives are vital. They suggest that while the company has the capacity to do good work, there may be risks associated with the process, particularly regarding project timelines and payment issues. A customer considering RoofCrafters Roofing would be wise to ask detailed questions about their project management process, communication protocols, and payment schedules, including how they manage supplier payments to avoid liens. This balanced view is more helpful than a one-sided account and allows for a more informed decision-making process.
For those in Savannah and the surrounding Georgia areas who wish to contact RoofCrafters Roofing, the company provides clear contact information. The physical address for their operations is 14 Sherborne Rd, Savannah, GA 31419, USA. This location is their business hub and a place where you can meet with their team to discuss your project. For direct communication, the company's phone number is (877) 676-6373. This is a toll-free number, making it convenient for residents across Georgia to call without incurring long-distance charges. This number can be used to request a consultation, get a quote, or ask any questions you may have about their services. For mobile phone users, the number can also be dialed as +1 877-676-6373. Having a toll-free number is a great feature for a business that serves a wider region, as it makes it easier for people outside of the immediate Savannah area to get in touch. However, as noted in the reviews, while contact is accessible, the quality of communication and project management after the initial contact is a key factor to consider. It is always a good practice to use this contact information to set up an initial meeting and discuss the project details in person. The ease of access to this contact information is a crucial first step for any local resident looking for a roofing contractor, and it provides the necessary means to begin the vetting process. This information is a fundamental part of the customer journey, providing a direct channel to engage with the company and learn more about what they can offer.
In conclusion, RoofCrafters Roofing presents itself as a viable option for locals in the Georgia region, particularly for those with specialized needs like metal roof installation. Their physical presence in Savannah and their positive reviews regarding the quality of their work and the helpfulness of their team suggest they have the capability to deliver a good final product. The praise for their estimator, Will, highlights their potential for a strong initial customer experience. However, it is essential for any potential customer to carefully consider the negative feedback that raises significant concerns about project management, communication, and financial handling. The issues of a supplier lien and a lack of timely completion are serious and should not be overlooked. For a Georgia resident, the decision to hire a contractor is a significant one, and this information provides a balanced view that is crucial for making an informed choice. It is highly recommended that anyone considering RoofCrafters Roofing ask detailed questions about their project timeline, their process for managing supplier payments, and their communication plan, especially during bad weather. By taking these proactive steps, a homeowner can mitigate potential risks and ensure a smoother project experience. Ultimately, RoofCrafters Roofing has demonstrated the ability to produce a high-quality finished product, but a potential customer's due diligence regarding the project management aspect is key. For locals in Georgia, this company is a potential resource, but it is one that requires careful consideration and thorough communication to ensure a successful and stress-free outcome for their home improvement needs.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We cannot recommend this business due to our disappointing experience as homeowners. Despite paying them in full, they failed to pay their supplier, resulting in a lien being placed on our home. Although the issue was eventually resolved, it caused significant stress and inconvenience. The project involved replacing our metal roof, which was a significant investment for us. However, their lack of planning and communication left our home exposed during two major storms. After removing the existing metal roof, they covered the house with plastic sheets and failed to provide a clear timeline for the installation of the new roof. What began in July was not completed until late October. While the quality of the new metal roof installation was satisfactory, the delays and operational issues highlight a lack of professionalism and effective management. We strongly advise caution to anyone considering their services.
January 04 · Rosa CarpenterA very good experience with Roofcrafters. A job well done by a great team of pros. Enjoyed working with Will (the estimator) who provided a wealth of very useful information. Thank you to all the Roofcrafter's team.....Dave Hannah
June 05 · Dave HannahI looked diligently for the best roofing company. Found a few, but RoofCrafters came to the top. Had other estimates, but Kyle came and went over everthing. We looked and felt the different choices and went with the 50 year GAF warranty shingles. We quickly had Mitch and his great crew crawling all over in no time, they honestly didn't stop except for lunch and a thunderstorm. I had studied how a roof was to be properly installed, they did the work the best way everytime, never the easiest. They let me ask questions and answered them. They were very detailed and presice. The house looks fantastic and I know every problem area was fixed right. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. I very highly recommend them for roof replacement and repairs.
June 06 · David HessRoofCrafters did the metal roof on our new home/garage last year and we could not be happier with the result. They were not the lowest or highest estimate, but we decided to go with them based on other reviews, work we have seen on other houses, and the quality of the product. Dewayne Horton was very responsive and had a great team do the work. Then about 9 months later, I needed to put a roof on the small breezeway I built between the house and garage, and I planned to use the leftover pieces from the main job. Problem was I did not have any of the standing seam clips I needed (I did not realize they were specific to the type of standing seam installed.) So I left Dewayne a message and he got right back to me with where I could purchase them. Outstanding, and something he did not have to do!!! Since then they have done other roofs in our neighborhood and it's all been top-notch work. Definitely recommend them.
December 02 · Kelly BloyerOut of the few roof companies I communicated with for a metal roof replacement; RoofCrafters was the one we chose. First, the professionalism of Joseph Martinez, who was the first face of RoofCrafters we came across with (as he did the roof assessment and provided the quote), was outstanding which gave RoofCrafters a good reputation. Second, it didn't matter how many different quotes I requested (with different materials ext) RoofCrafters was the one to provide it with no issues and in a timely manner (Thanks to Joseph & Sandy). Most importantly, RoofCrafters has a representative or POC for each step of the process, I know that they're all a team and each person contributed to the success of the roof replacement. However, Sandy Shaw, made this entire process seamless and enjoyable. She made the entire team shine by always being available to guide, answer any questions, or clarify information. Not to mention, her persistence and quick communication is what encouraged us to work with RoofCrafters.Thank you again Sandy.
