What is worth choosing
Choosing a general contractor is a decision that relies on a company's ability to deliver quality work and provide reliable customer service. The provided customer reviews for Pacific Home Remodeling, Inc. present a mixed and important perspective that any potential client should consider. On one hand, a customer noted that their initial experience with the company was "excellent," praising the quality of the product—energy-efficient windows—and the workmanship. This positive feedback suggests that the company is capable of delivering on the project itself. However, the same review highlights a significant issue with post-project follow-up, specifically a failure to return multiple phone calls and emails regarding warranty work for a leaky window. The customer's frustration is evident, and this lack of responsiveness for a crucial issue is a major concern. Another review points to aggressive and rude sales tactics, with the reviewer describing a pattern of unwanted and persistent phone calls even after being asked to stop. The apathetic and sarcastic responses from the company's solicitors, as described by the reviewer, are a red flag regarding their professional conduct. The reviewer also noted a poor response when they mentioned they had already remodeled their home with another company. This feedback suggests that while the initial work may be satisfactory for some, the company's practices in sales and, more critically, post-service support may fall short of professional standards. The value of a contractor is not just in their initial work but in their reliability to stand by their product and address problems. The conflicting information—positive notes on initial work versus significant concerns over customer service and follow-up—means that potential clients in Los Angeles should proceed with caution. It is recommended that clients perform thorough due diligence, including checking recent and verified reviews from multiple sources, and ensure that any contracts include clear terms for warranty work and a plan for communication after the project is complete. While the company offers a range of valuable services, a client’s ultimate satisfaction is dependent on a professional experience from start to finish, including the vital follow-up and warranty phase.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have left multiple voicemail messages and three emails requesting a return phone call regarding warranty work for a leaky window. Three weeks later I have yet to receive any response whatsoever. My initial experience was excellent. I am very satisfied with the quality of the product (energy efficient windows) and workmanship. However, now that I have a minor issue I cannot get a call back.At least the remaining windows that I need to complete my home will go to another business.
March 21 · Abe RiveraThis company will call you to death, even if you ask them politely not to call again, or ask them to take our number off their list. The solicitors are extremely hateful and rude. One man kept repeating every word I said. Another one said sarcastically "No, I'm going to keep calling" then hung up on me. We had our house remodeled this last year, when I advised them this their response was "Why didn't you call us?" I wouldn't do business with them, nor recommend them to anyone. They don't even rate 1 star, but you can't leave a review without rating.
September 06 · Cynthia StrachanI have been trying to get them to make good on their warranty since August of last year. No luck so far and it is now late March. I was promised a call back yesterday regarding my case and it never came. They also don't always answer their phones so I was unable to contact them. Once I did talk to them they told me it was a subcontractor that garunteed the work and that contractor was out of business so there's nothing I can do. Additionally all appliances that were installed to include oven, refrigerator, and microwave have broken down at some point. Oven is still broken. DO NOT use this company!
March 25 · bradley chapmanThey will not stop harassing you! I’ve told them multiple times that I’m NOT interested and I’ve blocked their number and I keep getting calls. When they first knocked at our door they said “we offer programs to help the community” at first I assume it was the many programs the city of Los Angeles has had for the city, in the past we’ve gotten a free door, free rain water barrels installed, free smoke and carbon dioxide alarms installed and have gotten our gas heater fixed and other small energy savings items at no cost. When I realized this wasn’t this kind of program I let them know there was a misunderstanding. The sales person was so rude and sarcastic when I told them I though it was one of those programs and he replied with “who would give stuff like that for free?” Well the city of los Angeles would, to actually help out low income residents and help the community. Please don’t waste your time with this company I see I’m not the only one that’s dealt with their harassments.
June 11 · Sweet Mutt DesignsWorst customer service ever!First of all the appointments were never kept, and they didn't even have the courtesy to call and let us now they were unable to make it. This happened three times. We got turf put in our front yard and they told us they would come by and check on the work that was done, and give us a sign to post in our yard to advertise. I don't mind not having a sign in the yard, but they never checked on the work that was done, and if they did I was unaware of it. Three years later they called claiming they wanted to come by and make sure the work that was done was still holding up, and they wanted to try to sell us some of their other services, which we declined. We scheduled an appointment for them to stop by inspect their work and again no show, no call. My husband also asked them to send us some paperwork. It has been 2 months and still no paperwork. I really don't even know how this company is still in business.
