Roy and his team were truly superb.When we were ready to renovate our garage (converting it from unfinished space to a home office and workshop), we spent a while shopping around for quotes. Roy stood out from the start, offering a detailed proposal and a competitive (in fact, somewhat lower) price. He spent quite some time talking with us when he visited our home, thinking through our wishes to be sure he understood them, presenting different options for accomplishing our goals, and coming up with thoughtful and creative solutions.Throughout the project, his team did high-quality work. The finished garage is lovely, and exactly as we hoped for. His subcontractors were skilled and he is an extremely detail-oriented, involved manager. When little things came up--a door was delayed at the factory, for example--Roy figured out how to work around them, even when it meant considerable extra effort. When we asked him to add to the scope of work, he did so at very low cost. It was always clear that his primary goal was to make sure that we were totally happy with the final product.What stood out most about Roy was his exceptional communication. He was incredibly responsive (within hours, even on the weekends, every single time), clear, warm, and helpful. He kept us apprised of the progress and met with me--at times convenient for my schedule--at least weekly, to check in and discuss and questions we had. He was even willing to handle dealing with a difficult supplier; I had placed the order for a window, and when the wrong one was delivered, he didn't blink an eye before offering to just handle it for me. In my experience, communication skills like this are rare and valuable.

TLDR: You are probably in the same boat as us where you haven't had experience with a contractor to do remodeling, an addition, etc. So similar to other reviews here, if you want ease of mind regarding this significant investment, look no further. Mike and his team will strive to keep you well informed and in the middle of all the action as much or as little as you would like. He will provide you with alternatives when hiccups inevitably arrive, whether in the form of an inspector or a detail related to the placement of a pendant light. And he will ensure that the project will be on time or early to the best of his abilities. If not, you'll know well in advance what is causing the delays. Yes, you might pay a little extra compared to other contractors, but the level of customer service care is unbeatable. Even after project completion.For those of you who would like a more in depth review:We worked with Four Seasons Builders to remodel a 1940's home from a 2 bedroom 1 bath to a 3 bedroom 2 bath. The overall scope of work included, basically everything:- Demo- Updated electrical- Repipe/gas- New and updated drain systems- New guest bath, Master bath, master bedroom, and guest bedroom- New addition for dining and kitchen (including kitchen cabinets) and installation of all finishes- Drywall and interior paint- Exterior removal and new stucco and paint- Rip out baseboards and install new laminate- Insulation in walls of existing home, replacement of roof insulation- New windows and doors- Add HVAC (none in original home)- Demo non-permitted garage storage area- Window sills/mouldings- Ethernet dropsThe only things we probably didn't include was adding a pool and a second story. With that said, Mike was never hesitant about his team's ability to deliver on any one of these items and he gave us a 5-6 month project timeframe. Due to the city permit office being behind, we had to wait quite awhile before permits were issued at no fault of Four Seasons Builders. All along the way Mike kept us informed of what we could do to help move things forward while also having his own team checking in with the applicable contacts. We ended up starting work on the house in July and ended in time to spend Christmas in our new place.During that time we went on vacation(s) as did Mike, but whether he was around or not we would get updates regarding how the house was progressing. We would also stop by often to provide feedback if we had questions regarding what was being done or if an outlet looked out of place. Mike welcomed the hands-on feedback and encouraged us to be another set of eyes to ensure we had the same vision come to fruition. Texts would be answered promptly and usually a photo(s) or video(s) were also sent along as Mike would frequently visit the site.All of this boiled down to having a fairly stressful and financially significant situation becoming a rather enjoyable experience. Don't get me wrong, it was still great to be done with everything, but Mike will make sure to help guide you along each step of the way. Mike strives to leave you with the best possible solutions to make your home the way you'd like to have it, so don't be worried to jump in and take part of the entire process.Hopefully we won't be doing any significant work again in the near future, but when we do, we'll definitely call up Mike again in a heartbeat.

We were referred to Four Seasons Builders by a friend with impeccable taste. They had a large remodel project and I loved how their home looked when it was complete. I hoped if they were happy with Four Seasons Builders we would be too.Mike and his team did not disappoint! From the first time I called I knew Mike would be great to work with. He was great to speak with via phone and offered to come look at the project right away. Mike was always on time or even early. When he said he would follow up with an email or a call he always did. He was the more reliable contractor we spoke with.With our home we started with a short list of projects and the scope of the project changed as we got to know Mike better. We knew we could trust him and his team to make our new house our home. They were always on time, stayed on schedule, the prices were fair and reasonable plus Mike is a perfectionist!Our house was a challenge as the past owners did a lot of work themselves and so we had to do a lot of correcting/fixing the work that had been done. Mike worked with us to keep within our budget and totally on time. It was so nice to know he was paying close attention to all that we wanted to accomplish. There are more projects on our list so I am sure we will be calling Mike and Four Seasons Builders again soon!

Mike Litman (owner) was such a pleasure to work with. He always shows up on time, responds quickly to any of my messages and e-mails, and was able to address all of my concerns and questions no matter how big or small. He was able to give an estimate for repairs and renovations on my home that ultimately were the best return on my investment. He has an incredible talent for transforming my home into one I always dreamed of. I truly recommend him to anyone, and this is coming from someone who has worked with several different contractors. 10/10

We contacted 3 other contractors when first considering our remodel but of all of them, Mike was the most responsive, friendly and helpful. Mike walked us through the entire process including picking out our finishes. He and his crew were great! They protected the rest of the house to minimize the dust, and did a great job of cleaning up each day. Our remodel involved a complete removal and re-do of our 40 year old bathroom, and it now looks like something out of show room. Again, Mike was very accessible and promptly returned our calls and emails. I can’t say enough about him. He was great, and we would gladly work him with again. Can’t recommend him enough. You won’t go wrong with him and his company.
