I can’t say enough good things about Exterior Plus Roofing! My old roof was 30 years old with tab shingles, so it was definitely time for a replacement. I originally got a quote from Royalty Roofing and was shocked at the price—$21,000! On top of that, they tried to push gutters on me by saying they couldn’t install a drip edge without replacing them. That didn’t sit right with me, so I looked for another opinion.I called Exterior Plus Roofing, and the very next day Jamie came out. She was so kind, thorough, and honest. She gave me a clear explanation of what I needed (and what I didn’t). She told me I only needed new gutters if I had water issues—which I don’t. Their highest package quote came in at $14,000, which was much more reasonable, and I didn’t feel like she was upselling me at all. That’s when I knew they were the right choice.Two weeks later, the crew showed up early, laid down tarps, and even brought a moveable dumpster to make cleanup quick and easy. In just about 7 hours, they had my new roof installed! We went with the slate-colored shingles and black drip edge, and it looks amazing.I highly recommend Exterior Plus Roofing to anyone who needs a new roof. They’re professional, trustworthy, and the finished product is worth every penny—especially compared to the overpriced quote I got elsewhere. Couldn’t be happier with the whole experience!

After contacting and speaking with many roofing companies for estimates to replace the roof on both my home and my garage due to wind damage and age, I decided to go with Exteriors Plus. Cory Kanis made the whole process less painful as I felt quite anxious at such a big decision. He was attentive, patient, informative, knowledgeable. Cory drove by and stopped one day at my house. He noticed I had an older roof and offered to take a look at it to see if there were any issues with it. I knew we were going to have to replace it in the near future due to age and manufacturing issues of the shingles. He found wind damage from a previous storm. He was confident that we could get my insurance to cover it. It took a lot of going back and forth with my insurance company (several months) but we were able to get the whole roof replaced. The crew doing the work did a great job. They were mindful of potted plants I was unable to move and moved them out of the way when doing the work without being asked. The clean up was well done also.Cory was excellent to work with. He was very quick to respond (via phone, text, or email) to any questions or concerns I had and let me know when I should follow up with my insurance to keep them moving along on my claim. He made the entire process very easy and is very knowledgeable. By far the best contractor I have done business with!

I hired this company to replace my roof, and it has been a frustrating experience from the start. Right off the bat, I was very concerned—the crew was carelessly throwing old roofing materials in every direction, resulting in damage to my siding, windows, and bushes. They even covered my neighbor’s driveway with debris and nails, and I had to personally start cleaning it up so my neighbors could get in and out of their driveway.In addition to that, I noticed issues with the flashing, which was not done correctly. I caught the crew installing new flashing right over the old, worn-out flashing that had been causing a leak in my kitchen. The new flashing barely extended behind the siding—it was only about an inch high. Before the project even started, I had clearly stated that the flashing needed to be done properly to prevent future leaks. Instead, I had to catch the crew in the act of cutting corners again.They did eventually come back, tear it off, and reinstall it correctly. After that, I raised another issue: the fascia metal along the gutters. The top portion of my house is very steep, and it was obvious the roofers had been standing on the gutters during the install. This caused a visible gap along the gutter line, and now I can see into my attic—something that wasn’t possible before the roof replacement.After multiple attempts to get them to come back and fix the issue—and days of being ignored—they finally returned. But instead of repairing it properly (as their own employee confirmed via text), they simply slapped new metal over the existing fascia. The correct process would have involved removing the gutters, installing the fascia metal under the drip edge, and then reattaching the gutters. They didn’t do that.Now they’re refusing to fix it unless I provide proof that their crew stood on the gutters—something that’s not only unreasonable but also insulting, especially since their own foreman was standing with me when we witnessed it happening. Their other "solution" was to charge me more money to fix it the right way, which is incredibly unfair and unprofessional. I couldn’t see into my attic before the roof install, but now I can—clearly something went wrong.Overall, the lack of accountability and professionalism has been incredibly disappointing. I’m just a new, young homeowner who was expecting a smooth and professional roof installation. Instead, it’s been a stressful and discouraging experience. I wouldn’t recommend this company unless you’re okay with chasing people down and accepting subpar, corner-cutting work.
