I contacted Atlanta Porch and Patio after speaking with 2 other companies. The previous deck (photos attached) was so ugly and uneven that I didn’t know what could be done with it. Thankfully, the design person at Atlanta Porch and Patio had a vison for it that I couldn’t even imagine when it was being described. Now I have a patio that is both fun and functional year-round. And they stayed within my budget!

I partnered with Atlanta Porch and Patio to bring my dream screened porch to life, and the final result is exactly what I had envisioned. The design is stunning, and the craftsmanship is top-notch. I’ve already spent countless hours enjoying the space, and I know it will be my go-to spot for relaxing at home.That said, the process took time and involved several challenges—mainly related to permitting. As this was my first construction project, I wasn’t familiar with county requirements and approval timelines. In my case, I had to apply for a zoning variance through Unincorporated DeKalb County—a process that took several months—on top of waiting nearly four months for the building permit itself. Fortunately, Atlanta P&P handled the building permit portion, but as the homeowner, I had to manage the zoning variance process directly. It was often slow and frustrating.One piece of advice I’d offer: if you don’t already have a land survey, consider getting one before signing a contract. It will help uncover any potential obstacles early on, so you can make a fully informed decision before committing financially. The porch was absolutely worth the effort in the end, but there’s no guarantee your variance request will be approved if you require one —especially if you're asking for a substantial setback reduction, as I was.Communication with the builder required some follow-up on my part during the project, but overall, it was a positive experience. Given the exceptional quality and execution of the design, I highly recommend Atlanta Porch and Patio to others.

This project started off on the right foot with meeting Judy (project manager), she set clear expectations from the beginning and always made herself available for our questions. What set Atlanta Porch and Patio apart from other companies? They hold themselves to a higher standard, they build to California building standards and that all starts at the top with the CEO Sol. Sol is invested in each project and came out to see the progress where I got to meet him, and he is a great leader with high standards for his company and his team members. It was mentioned by each inspector, “You know they didn’t have to do this, this is overkill.” Which made me feel better about choosing Atlanta Porch and Patio.We extended our patio to run the back side of our house and added a 14 x 19 3 season room with vinyl windows. We added 2 skylights and used ply bead for the ceiling and used a clear poly finish. We upgraded the door to be an 8 ft door to match out 8 ft sliding glass doors into the space.The results turned out amazing and some of the comments from my neighbors, “This room looks like it was built with the house.” We are super happy with the room and the quality of work and again Judy, she was amazing throughout this process and was there every step of the way!! I would HIGHLY recommend Atlanta Porch and Patio. Great Quality, Great Value, Great People, High Standards!

$25k minimum and 6 month waitI contacted this company 2 weeks ago about a column repair/redo for my carport and front patio. I sent them photos and set an appointment for someone to come out today. Then last night the guy who was supposed to come out urgently wants to call me. I wasn't sure why it couldn't wait, but got on the phone with him.Apparently they prefer new builds and are very selective about who they work with. He said for all projects it's a $25k minimum and a 6 month wait for the work after the contract is signed. Nobody mentioned this when I called.

This company’s approach to sales is very off-putting. We scheduled Judy to come to the house to give us a quote. All we got was a really high “ballpark” guess and were asked several times if we were considering them as a serious contender. We never received an actual quote and when I followed-up a week later for said quote, we were asked again if we considered them a serious contender. What was that home appointment for if not a serious quote?? How do you become a serious contender without giving a serious quote?! What this interaction shows is that they’re not interested in doing any real work to secure a sale but rather more interested in making a quick sale by taking advantage of those who aren’t going to do their homework. (Make no mistake, we have active projects going on in our house, we were clearly seriously shopping for a quote!) Our experience - they show up late with zero initiative and no follow-through, keeping themselves from being considered seriously. Don’t waste your time, call somewhere else.
