The workers were so polite and answered any and all of my concerns throughout the whole project. They cleaned up very thoroughly. The office was very responsive and so was Jason, who came out regularly to check all was going well. I love my new metal roof! And now my bathroom vents are working much more efficiently now that they are vented correctly! Now I can relax and enjoy the rain.

Smith and Miller roofing did an outstanding job. Their communication and professionalism was top tier, from the first estimate to the final invoice. The roof they replaced for us was an exceptionally challenging task to say the least, as the property was located in a very difficult location with very little access. Smith and Miller were able to execute the repairs with seeming ease despite the challenge. Their pricing and quality of work is far superior to many that I have seen, I will definitely use them for any other roof or siding issues I have.10/5 stars

I had Smith & Miller install a roof (approximately 20x30) off of my house to cover my patio.Tom was great to work with. He laid everything out for me and came through on all promises. The folks in the office were also great. I have had experience with them when I worked as a maintenance director at a local nursing home. They were always polite and fantastic to deal with. Every group of workers that came to my house were absolutely professional and always cleaned up after they were finished with their part of the project.I would recommend these folks for any project you may have. Thanks for a job well done.

We recently had our roof, siding, gutters, and deck replaced, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the results! From start to finish, the team was professional, punctual, and extremely skilled. Every phase of the project was handled with care and attention to detail.The roofing installation was completed efficiently and looks fantastic, and the materials used are clearly top-quality. The siding completely transformed the exterior of our home. It's not only beautiful but also feels much more energy-efficient. The new gutters are perfectly installed.And the deck—wow! It turned out better than we imagined. The craftsmanship is outstanding, and it’s now our favorite place to relax and entertain.Communication was excellent throughout the project. They kept us informed every step of the way, answered all our questions, and stuck to the timeline and budget we agreed on. Cleanup after each phase was thorough, and the crew was respectful of our property.If you're looking for a reliable, skilled contractor for exterior home improvements, I highly recommend this company. They exceeded our expectations and truly delivered a flawless experience.

Four out of FiveGood : Excellent office staff, reliable , and no worries about taking your money and running. Also they allowed me to use the dumpster to dump personal items.In Between : outside deck , see photo after I painted and before roofing job, looked good before roof job. Deck was scuffed , scraped from shingles. They provided me with 2 gallons of paint. Problem solved.Nails : Photo taken on nails in driveway or nails collected from driveway. . No damage to tires due to me triple checking and one more check. Nothing in correspondence saying nails in driveway just attic.Plywood replacement : extra $1200. In contract but would have like to have been notified beforehand of excess cost.Questionable. : Extra shingles. See photo below. The way I see it : the extra shingles were part of estimate for roof. They were picked up by an outside material company. A rep did give me one bundle. If I paid for the job why am I not getting the extra shingles. I’m sure Smith and Miller is getting a credit for the excess. Are they going to then credit myself. Sneaky , sneaky, sneaky.As I was using the dumpster I happened to see some empty cans of beer in the dumpster. Modelo and Corona are the brands. They did not come from our dumping. They were right near empty lunch wrappers. Granted , as I stated earlier this dumpster was on a public road. There is not that much foot traffic on the roadway in our development and in the ten years I have been here , I have never seen anyone walking holding a beer can. I want to make this clear , I did not see any worker drinking alcohol at the site, but I had very little to no , with the emphasis on “No” contact with the workers. No one was actually home 95 percent of the time they were working. To be on the safe side , I took some photos of the beer cans , without disturbing their placement , just in case I have issue with roof and how installation due to possibly other circumstances I will not post those photosLastly, As I was working on my deck I happened to notice two gentleman on a roof in our development on a house right below and behind our house. I had a perfect view. These guys were up there for about 2 hours , not ten minutes, measuring , inspecting, looking at that roof. I can tell they were thorough. Since I was getting a new roof, obviously I was curious. On my next deck adventure , the hand painting I seen the tear down and replacement of the roof. When I went to roll my deck. on another day I seen the finished product. This was before my roof was installed but certainly after I signed the contract. When I seen the finished roof , I could not believe what I was looking at. Believe me I am not trying to give Smith and Miller a shot, but this is the best looking roofing job I have ever seen. Phenomenal. I had to put down the roller take a ride by and hopefully see the contractor sign in the front yard. It was there. I am not and would never name that contractor in this review , as that would be a low blow on my part. How good was this roof - if ten randomly selected people drove through our development , and it’s a pretty big development, and if they were asked to point out the best looking roof - ten out of ten would select that roof. To that contractor and crew - Well done my friend. Well done.The initial cost of my roof was $19,750, no gutters plus some extras and the $1200 for plywood. Total cost a little less than 22k for roof. I did not get any other estimates.All in all 4 out of 5. 80 percent was ok, officer staff was excellent . The 20 percent dislike - tell people there could be nails in driveway , a little more clearer on extra cost of plywood , if and I did say if alcohol was consumed there’s a time and place for that , but not at a job site ,have estimator get on roof to accurately measure , rather than online mapping , like the 2 guys did on the residence behind and below me, and the excess shingles, no matter how much you slice it I think I should get the monetary credit for that.
